Health and Safety:

Intown follows all CDC Covid-19 recommendations. Intown mandates consistent hand washing and daily disinfecting of the space and materials.

Our policy allows for only one designated adult with each child, and no siblings are allowed during the yearly program (with the exception of the pre-purchased sibling coupon book for occasional use). All adults and children are required to wash their hands with soap and water before entering the play area and before snack.

Children attending are required to have a completed D.C. health/immunization form. No exceptions will be allowed. Adults attending Intown are required to have a full COVID19 Vaccination.

Peanuts are not allowed at Intown. Parents are advised to inform the Director in writing if their child has a food allergy.

A parent orientation meeting is held at the beginning of the Fall term to review health and safety, as well as other Intown policies.

Registration and Enrollment Policies

Payment is due prior to the start of a term, or by the August early payment deadline if paying for the discounted full 3 term rate. If payment is not received, your child’s space will not be held and may not be available based on the current waitlist.

The number of days per week (2, 3 or 5) your child is enrolled may be changed prior to payment, but becomes finalized once payment is received. (Some exceptions may be made by the Director based on availability).

No refunds are given for any reason after payment is received.

Parent Participation:

Intown is a cooperative playgroup and for safety reasons only a single designated parent or adult is currently allowed to accompany a child. Parents will be asked, however, to participate in different activities that support current and future Intown children and their families.
