This event is for children ages 9 months to 2 years old to be accompanied by an adult

You are invited to attend Intown Playgroup free of charge

on Thursday, March 20th from 9am to 12pm!

To attend, you must register for this event. Please complete the form below to register.

Additional important information - Please read!

All strollers must remain outside. Please plan to put away your cell phone for the duration of your visit (calls/texts are only permitted in the main lobby), and remain within a hugs reach away of your child throughout the day. Doors open at 9am. Please try to arrive no later than 10am or after 10:45am to avoid disrupting circle time. Please pack a NUT FREE snack for your child (and yourself if desired)- no food or drink is allowed on the general play space other than at snack time at the designated snack time around 10:45am (please bring your child to the lobby to eat or drink other than at this time). Weather permitting, outdoor play is approximately from 11am-12pm so please dress accordingly. The program ends at 12pm but you are welcome to leave before then.

Please indicate your understanding and agreement with the following conditions. Your signature will indicate both your understanding of each condition and a promise to adhere to the condition attendance as it is stated. Your child's attendance depends on Intown having received this signed agreement.

Intown is a cooperative playgroup. Parents and Caregivers in attendance are required to supervise and enhance the play environment by engaging with their child. Your help will also extend to keeping the indoor and outdoor space tidy by replacing materials and safe by following all required health procedures.

Each child must be accompanied by an adult.

WAIVER and RELEASE from LIABILITY: I hereby grant permission for my child to participate in all activities of Intown Playgroup. I understand that Intown Playgroup and/or any of the staff or members of the Board of Directors cannot be held liable for accidents that may occur under their supervision. I assume all risks and hazards incidental to such participation, including risk of injury to my child, and do hereby release and waive on my child's behalf and on the behalf of myself and other relatives of my child any and all claims relating to such participation of activities designed by Intown Playgroup and/or any of the staff or members of the Board of Directors.

EMERGENCY PROCEDURES: In the event of an emergency in Washington, DC area, the following procedures will be in place for the families of Intown: 1) Please leave Intown immediately. Do not wait for a phone call or text from Intown. 2) If you are unable to pick up your child/caregiver personally, you must send someone authorized to do so. 3) If you are unable to arrange for an authorized person to pick up your child, assume that Intown staff will stay in the locked school for approximately thirty minutes unless the staff determines it is not safe or prudent to do so. 4) In the event that your child is not picked up within thirty minutes, your child will be released to a member of the Intown parent body in the area, with information on their location posted on the door of the school. 5) if there is a biological or chemical attack, your child will be locked inside the school and you are to come get them only when public safety officials for the city of DC have given the OK to be outside. We will NOT open the doors until we have received an official OK. 6) In the even that the emergency directly affects the school ground (ie, bomb threat, fire, etc) , we will relocated to Christ Church, 3116 O St. NW, 202-333-6677.
