New Family Enrollment Process

With 3 trimesters- Fall, Winter, and Spring (each with 5, 3 and 2 day/week options)- and a 4 week Summer Camp, Intown offers flexible enrollment to accommodate families of the Intown community.

Intown continues to meet the challenges presented by Covid -19. We have put in place numerous safety protocols and adhere to all CDC recommendations. Adults attending Intown are required to have received a COVID19 Vaccination.

To start the enrollment process, please complete the form below. After we receive your application you will be notified by email of availability and next steps. We will respond within 4 days. Please check your spam folder and contact us at intownplaygroup@gmail.com if you don't receive a response. The Covid Wavier, Health Forms, Immunization Forms and Emergency Forms must be submitted after you are notified of enrollment (links are provided below). Enrollment is made in the order the application is received. If you apply and decide not to attend please notify us as soon as possibly so that we may take the next applicant.

As part of the enrollment process DC Health universal health and immunization forms are also required, they can be found HERE. We also ask that you complete the Assumption of the Risk and Waiver of Liability Relating to Coronavirus/COVID-19 , which can be found HERE . We ask that you bring these signed documents with you on the first day of attendance or you can email them to intownadmissions@gmail.com.

Select the session (trimester) of your attendance. If planning to attend all 3 sessions, please select "All" with designated session and receive 15% discount IF tuition is paid in full by August 20, 2022. Tuition is due prior to the commencement date of the session. Your child's space will not be guaranteed if tuition is not paid prior to commencement date of the session

Please indicate your understanding and agreement with the following conditions of this contract. Your signature will indicate both your understanding of each condition and a promise to adhere to the condition to enrollment as it is stated. Your child's enrollment depends on Intown having received this contract signed and tuition paid by the dates listed above

Intown is a cooperative playgroup. Parents and Caregivers in attendance are required to supervise and enhance the play environment by engaging with their child. Your help will also extend to keeping the indoor and outdoor space tidy by replacing materials and safe by following all required health procedures.

A universal heath form is required for the parent, caregiver and child attending. An immunization record is also required for each child enrolled.

Each child must be accompanied by an adult. No sibling visits at this time.

Covid Tuition Addendum. Tuition is needed to support the playgroup and in the event the playgroup is halted temporarily or closed altogether due to Covid related issues the playgroup will be unable to issue refunds or credits in any amount.

FORFEITURE: My signature reflects the understanding that failure to pay tuition or agree to any of the aforementioned provisions will result in forfeiture of your child's space at Intown.

INTOWN MEDIA /PHOTO RELEASE: I hereby grant permission for images of my child at Intown Playgroup to be used on Intown Playgroup's public facing social media sites, including Facebook, Instagram and the Intown Website as well as for Intown promotional print materials. This permission includes likenesses of my child and our family members/caregivers and work created at Intown.

WAIVER and RELEASE from LIABILITY: I hereby grant permission for my child to participate in all activities of Intown Playgroup. I understand that Intown Playgroup and/or any of the staff or members of the Board of Directors cannot be held liable for accidents that may occur under their supervision. I assume all risks and hazards incidental to such participation, including risk of injury to my child, and do hereby release and waive on my child's behalf and on the behalf of myself and other relatives of my child any and all claims relating to such participation of activities designed by Intown Playgroup and/or any of the staff or members of the Board of Directors.

EMERGENCY PROCEDURES: In the event of an emergency in Washington, DC area, the following procedures will be in place for the families of Intown: 1) Please leave Intown immediately. Do not wait for a phone call or text from Intown. 2) If you are unable to pick up your child/caregiver personally, you must send someone authorized to do so. 3) If you are unable to arrange for an authorized person to pick up your child, assume that Intown staff will stay in the locked school for approximately thirty minutes unless the staff determines it is not safe or prudent to do so. 4) In the event that your child is not picked up within thirty minutes, your child will be released to a member of the Intown parent body in the area, with information on their location posted on the door of the school. 5) if there is a biological or chemical attack, your child will be locked inside the school and you are to come get them only when public safety officials for the city of DC have given the OK to be outside. We will NOT open the doors until we have received an official OK. 6) In the even that the emergency directly affects the school ground (ie, bomb threat, fire, etc) , we will relocated to Christ Church, 3116 O St. NW, 202-333-6677.
